STUDENTS TO HAVE CHANCE AT AVIATION An opportunity for students of the Utah Agricultural College to enter-tralning enter-tralning schools to prepare for com-mlslsons com-mlslsons la the Aviation Service in the near future is offered by a recent re-cent communication received by Captain Cap-tain Stephen Abbot, in charge of the military "Work at the College, from Major E. H. Litchfield, of the Signal Corps by authority of the Chief of the Air Ber Ice, Lieutenant Colonel R. W. Gregg. This communication Is as follows: 1. It is hoped that such men as you may choose to recommend from among the members of your unit of the Reserve Officers Training Corps, may soon be granted opportunity to be examined for training for a com-mlssfon com-mlssfon as Second Lieutenant In the Aviation Section. (Flying). 2. Recommendations for admission admis-sion to examination will bo considered consid-ered only in the case of men who are members of the Reserve Officers Offic-ers Training Corps units and who will complete the senior course this I year; or In the case of. men who have since January 1, 1917, completed com-pleted one year's course In such Training Corps and have -received not less than 300 hours of military Instruction under the supervision of an officer of the Army.
