Tho company starts out by a departure de-parture from tbe usual ordor ot companies, com-panies, In that It has confined Itself to acquiring holdings of only such '.' ' i lands as come under the list of "proven" territory. The policy of the company Is such that it is practically assured that all wells drilled will e productive because be-cause of their situation. In the famous fam-ous Elk Basin fields oh the Montana Wyoming border line, the company has land lying about a quarter of a mile west'bt the properties, and.' wells of the Ohio and Midwest companies, and other holdings with producers on' three sides ot It, where the two have forty-three producing wells. Elk' Basin is one of the recent "wonders" of Wyoming, and Is said to be producing pro-ducing 16,000 barrels of high grade parafttne base on every twenty-four hours.
