Show GERMAN DYES ARE NOW MADE IN U. S. Washington, March 25. Manufacture Manufac-ture of German dyes by American companies has already been begun. A dye famine, which has existed since 1914, will bo relieved. Tho federal trade commission announced an-nounced the first issuance of licenses li-censes under German dye patents. Proper formulas have been arrived at after months of experiment. In almost all Instances Teutonic firms havo glvin Insufficient descriptions, and It was almost Impossible to determine de-termine the correct formulas. In some cases where attempts were made to combine Ingredients explosions occurred. Knllures were numerous.
