Tho subject which ,tho high schools debato this year Is, Resolved that tho Monroe Doctrino should ho abolished. Friday night February 11 tho freshmen class .spent a Jolly evening; An oyster supper was prepared and served In tho domestic sclenco department de-partment after which tho class returned re-turned to tho high school building for tho remainder or the evening. I Games wore played and part or tho 1 1 evening was spent in dancing. All'l tho members present npent a very pleasant evening. Saturday night February 12 our boys met tho Weber high school boys on our floor. It wns a very interesting interest-ing gamo, but Weber succeeded In carrying off tho honors with a final score of 34 to 20. Tho game lu the first half was very close, both sides fighting hard. It ended with a scoro of 12 to 13, in Weber's favor. The second hair we held them to our mark until Ephralm Woodland our star player received a cut over his eyo and forehead. From this point tho Weber boys scored a fow points ahead or us. It wns a good same, both teams doing good work. Tho next league gnmo will be played on our floor Friday February 18, with Rox Elder High School. It will bo n very good gamo and should bo sup-ported sup-ported by tho school. Larson Jr., of Lvwiaton. Tho subject treated wna that of tho necessity of every student, heforo no leuves high school, kuowing Just what ho intends to do throughout life.
