The play was a good ono and nil of the characters wero well represented. Tho company will leave our ward very highly recommended. A surprise party was given nt the homo of Mr. and Mrs. George Duck' ley. It being Mrs. Duckley's forty-second forty-second birthday. Many friends wore n attendanco nnd a good timo was enjoyed. Every night for tho past week young peoplo, inlddlo aged people, old pco-plo pco-plo and married people, havo been seen going up our mountain side with sleds, shovels, bread pans, and brooms.
