On Sunday evening tho graduates held their closing exercises ex-ercises In the ward meeting house . Shlploy who has been suffering considerable from rheumatism rheuma-tism this winter, returned home Inst Saturday from tho Lava Springs, somewhat improved In his health. Tho frost has affected this part of tho county somewhat hard. Practically Practic-ally all of tho fruit and alfalfa Is ttozen. Some of tho fall grain Is reported to bavo been Injured by tho frost. Mrs. Elizabeth Uankhend and daughter Tressle aro visiting relatives rela-tives In Burlcy, having made the trip in uivir luuiih x.w , Mr. llryan Obray who has been 111 all winter, passed away on Sunday. All that loving hands could do to prolong his llfo was done, but without with-out avBll. Dryan was a good cheerful disposition young man and every I ono that knew him loved him. Ho was born In Paradise, and was tho I son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas L. Obray. Was twenty years of age. Funeral services were held In the meeting house at two o'clock Tuesday. Tues-day. Tho choir sang, Wanted On , the Other Sido. Prayer was offered I by U. W. Shipley. A duet, Jesus , Lover of My Soul, was beautifully rendered by Mrs. Lemon and Mrs. Ulclinuin.
