Other Club News At tho regular monthly meeting of tho Commercial Club held Wednesday January 19, a communication from tho Salt Lako Commercial Club asking ask-ing that wo sond representatives to attend a convention at Pocatcllo on March 23 for the purposo of laying plans for tho making of a highway from Salt Lako City to Yellowstone was presented. It was decided that a commlttco consisting of representatives represen-tatives from tho garages and hotols be appolntod to attend tho conven tion. This matter is of considerable importance im-portance to tho people of Cacho Valley Val-ley becauso if wo can get tho route It will bo tho means of bringing many tourists through hero on their way to tho park. Owing to tho excellent hotel accommodations, welj equipped garages, good roads, scenery, camping camp-ing places, etc., wo have tho host louto out of the state to tho National Park ovor the State Highway by way of Cacho, Logan ennybn and Boar Lako or by way of Cache and Pros-ton, Pros-ton, Idaho. Tho Malad peoplo hro very active in this matter and will do nil they can to havo tho route como their way. The following applicants wero mado members of tho club: Joseph Hickman, Hick-man, Leon Fonnesbock, E. J. Lack-oro, Lack-oro, A. L. Fullmer, G. M. Kerr, Logan, Lo-gan, and Willard Garr, Mlllvlllo. Thoso in charge of tho Boosters Vaudeville aro -working hnrd to havo tho performance ready for the latter part of February. Tho Entertain mont commltteo feels very fortunate in securing the services of Mr. A. F. Cardon in preparing the vaudeville vaude-ville ,v With the help of Mr. Cardon, Prof. Arnold, Mr. O. B. Alexandor, and Mr. Lewis Edwards a most excellent ex-cellent performance is assured. |
