The opening prayer was offered by Patriarch William H. Griffin Sr., and tho choir sang, I'll Pralso My Makor Whllo I'vo Breath. Opening remarks wero made by Elder El-der Lesllo Iloskellcy of Smlthlleld, recently re-cently returned from tho California mission. Ho contrasted tho belief of tho Lattcrday Saints, to that of Christianity Chris-tianity at largo and bore a strong testimony of tho truthfulness of tho gospel. Elder James Roskclley president of tho Smlthlleld quorum of Seventy dwelt upon tho principles of tho gospel, gos-pel, and their effect upon tho human family. Said the atonement of Christ was not appreciated because its double dou-ble power to save was not understood. Said the glory of God Is intelligence and declared It to bo God's purposo to extend his mercies until the wholo( human family should have tho privilege privi-lege of hearing of tho plan of llfo and salvation. Tho choir sang, Zlon Prospers, All Is Well. Tho sacrament wns administered by Elders John Jenkins nnd Lars V. Miller, assisted by Oliver Jenklni.
