Show BOARD MEETING ATJ. A. C. Regular commencement mooting of tho Utah Agricultural College Board of trustees was held at 9 a. m. on Tuesday June 6, at tho Hoard room of tho College. The following now appointments to the college faculty were made: Mark II. Green who Is nt present studying at tho University ot Wisconsin Wis-consin nnd expects to take his Ph. D. degree this jenr, wns appointed assistant as-sistant professor of farm management manage-ment In the extension division,' to take the place of Edgar B. llrossard who was granted a leave of nbsencc to do further school work In tho cast. Prof. llrossard expects to attend the Agricultural College of Minnesota. Sirs. Georgia Johnson provlously connected with tho Denver Academy and at present studying at Columbia University was appointed lnsryictor lu physical education for women e to take tho place of Miss Mary Johnson John-son who resigned to bo murried. George D. Cnsto wns appointed Instructor In-structor lu economics and to bo In charge of debating. David Hugh was appointed 'instructor 'instruc-tor In woodwork nnd assistant 'in. tho repair department, ,( II. P. Mr. Van Wagoner is to have charge of tho stenographic work and tho business end of the same office. , Mr. W. W. Owen was appointed county ngent for Sovler county to tnko tho placo of Lorln A. Merrill who' is to bo transferred to Logan, ,as assistant stnto leader. Clyde Lindsay wns appointed county coun-ty ngent for Utah county to tnko tho place, of A. I). I)allantno who resigned. Mr. II. II. Hngan was, granted a leave of nbsenco for next year for tho purpose of continuing his studies In tho cast. A committee of the' Hoard consisting consist-ing of Dnvld Mattson, Angus T. I Wright and Thomas Smart wero appointed ap-pointed to take charge of tho matter of tho naming of tho now chemistry building In honor of Dr. John A. Wldtsoe and of preparing and securing secur-ing the necessary Inscriptions, etc. Information to tho offect that there wero certain llvo wires In connection with tje stato power plant which wero dangerous having been brought to the attention of the board.
