Show FOUR HUNDRED STUDENTS WILL PARIICIPATE History of State, County and College to Be Set Forth In Spectacular Scenes Tho U. A. C. Pageant to bo staged stag-ed Saturday, Juno C, on tho campus promises to bo of unusual Intorcst not only to tho students of tho College Col-lege and tho pcoplo of Logan, but to tho pcoplo of tho valloy and cntlro stato as well. Many of tho leading men who havo shaped the history of tho stato and tounty l bo represented repre-sented by tho students, pioneers, Indians, In-dians, oxen, pralrlo schooners, dancers, danc-ers, bands. An old time football gamo and a barbecuo will bo features fea-tures of tho pageant. Four hundred students under thb direction of Miss Sara Huntsman of thcEnglUh department de-partment will act out a'sorles of spectacular spec-tacular scenes representing and symbolizing sym-bolizing tho spirits of naturo, glvo a danco expressive of their, Joy that a kingdom is to bo built in tho wilderness. wil-derness. Part Two represents tho founding of tho Utah AgrI cultural Collego, and a series of scenes showing the past history of the college during tho past twcnty-ilvo years will, bo presented, among them tho first football game, tho flrBt barbecue, and a scono from tho first A. C. play, "A Midsummer Night's Dream. In this scono a dance will bo executed by fifty llttlo girls ' representing fairies. i Part Three shows what tho A. C. is doing today. A group of young girls representing tho Spirit of Learning Learn-ing show this in part and tho rest Is worked out realistically in a villago sccno which shows how tho A. C. has reached tho pcoplo of tho stato In their various activities. Thoro is a gonoral revival of interest inter-est In pageantry throughout tho country and many colleges and cities havo presented them In tho past fow years.
