This I Is tho only appearance 0f tho Col- lego Dramatic Club In Logan. "Milestones' wns written by Arnold Arn-old Dennett and Edward Knoblauch. It Is an old English 'stylo o( play, a . single performance covering tho pored por-ed ot many years. This play which covers tho period of flfty-two years, or rather two periods of flfteon and twenty-seven, portrays tho customs of threo generations ot an aristocratic aristocrat-ic English family. John Illiead Is engaged to bo married mar-ried to Hoso Slbloy. Roso's brothor Samuel Is engaged to be married to John's sister Gertrude An Industrial Industri-al conflict arises botweon tho two families and Gertrude's faith In her brother's convictions prompts her to break her engagement with Samuel. John Rhead and Rose Sibley are married, however and llvo to take jiart in tho social and industrial Btrito of threo generations of tholr family. Mr. Lowry Nolson, very ably played play-ed tho part of John Rhead, as did Luella Fogg In tho role of Roso Slbloy Slb-loy and latter, Mrs. John Rhead. In tho first sceno thoy represented young people of about twenty-flvo or I thirty years; In tho second, thoy woro I peoplo of affairs at fifty and In tho third they co'ebrated their golden wedding day at soventy-soven. Miss Leora Thatcher, In tho double role tf Mrs. Rhead and Nancey Sibley, also I handled her part In n most excellent I manner. Miss Lola John-i John-i son. Tho good work ot the cast reflect I credit on Miss Sarah Huntsman tho director. The costumos and scenery was furnished by tho U. A. C. Art department. O.
