Tho special committee to which tho board ot education ed-ucation referred tho matter of high school cadots soiling coal for tho Standard Coal company out of school hours has decided that there is nothing noth-ing for It to do In tho case and the matter has been dropped there. The committee was composed of Oeorgo M. Sullivan ot tho board and Supt. D. H. Chrlstensen of tho schools. They sustain the action ot Principal Oeorgo A. Eaton wnono-tlficd wnono-tlficd the company that the cadets as a body could not enter Into such an agreement. Tho committee also takes the stand that It the cadets Individually In-dividually want to sell coal for the company out of school hours It is no business of tho board of education or of anyone elso. -Such will bo tho roport of tho commlttoo, It is announced, an-nounced, when tho board meets, If the board wants a report. |
