Entire Cast f Will Take on Darkie Attire. - Thqy are going fast. Duy your tick- I ota today for the big "Combined J Shows" given tomorrow by the Com- I merclal Club and Logan Military Band. Tickets will be on sale today at the Lyric theater at 10 a.m. The luterurban cars will run north and south after the show. Tomorrow at 1 p. m. In front of the Lyric theater will commenco tho largo parade of the entire Logan Military Mil-itary band and all tho participants in the Combined Shows. Thoy will have black faces and bo in special costumes. At 3 p. m. a special matinee at a reduced price of ten cents wl'l be given to tho district school children of the city upon presentation of tickets tick-ets furnished them Tho Uttlo playette entitled "Carrots" "Car-rots" makos a very good contrast as It Is tho only serious part of the show. It has a good moral to It, and Is a valuable lesson to old and J'oung. Tho setting of tho playette Is In France. Carrots is the name of a fourteon year old boy with straw colored col-ored hair. Carrots is very unhappy In his home because of his mother's bad disposition and the way sho treats htm. Mr. Leplc, tho father, is also very unhappy, and stands by Carrots In his trouble. He gives Carrots very good advice which In the end causes a reconciliation in the faml'y and makes a happy homo. Mrs. 0. W. Hansen takes the Part of Carrots and sho does It admirably. It would ho difficult to secure ono who could take the part better. Mr. J. R. Morton, Misses Benson and Johnson take thelnparts exceptionally exceptional-ly well. The minstrel will consist of sixteen six-teen malo voices accompanied by a special full orchestra on the stage. The harmony of the voices, solos, and humorous parts are very good. The entire minstrel- and orchestra will have black faces, ft. -, The musical act and other specialties special-ties are now and will be very entertaining. enter-taining. n ' |
