From tho view point of utility, this gift has truly been ono of tho foremost gifts to the College. Tho clock works perfectly. It automatically auto-matically and accurately rings tho bells In each of tho buildings of tho school, Indicating not only tho period for the dismissal of ono class, but after tho Interval of ilvo minutes, It indicates tho timo for tho connuenco ment of the following class. The clock mechanism is adjustable and an bo arranged to ring the bells at any time Just so long as that time marks an interval of flvo minutes or a multiple of flvo; or by a simple adjustment ad-justment tho wires can bo detachol so that the befls do not ring at u'l. Tho class and tho College feel Justly Just-ly proud of this clock. It Is tho second sec-ond of Its kind In tho stato, one other oth-er having recently been placed In ilu East Side High School in Salt IaVo City. Tho clock has cost tho class about ono hundrod and sovonty-ilvo dollars. It was purchased through tho Cardon Jewelry Company which extended to tho class a very reasonable reason-able consideration. T. II. Porter of tho B. Y. C. has had tho responsibility responsibil-ity of tho wiring and arranging for tho work and much of tho clock'n perfection per-fection In ringing tho bolls is duo to his excellent adjustment of bolls aud wiring, but of ourso the excellent and tho success of thto wholo undertaking under-taking Is through tho loyalty and tho genuine feollu of loyalty of tho clats of 1915. Tho presentation is to take placo on Friday, May 14, at 8 p. m. Mem bers of tho Board aro to bo present to recelvo tho gift.
