It appears ap-pears that thero is a mountain called Oral on tho borders of China and Tibet, whero it was claimed that tho dovout worshiper might occasionally sco, from tho summit, tho Imago of his great teacher Ruddha approaching tho mountain. This belief was recorded ns a moro Idlo superstition by explorers, ex-plorers, until ono of tho latter happened hap-pened to ascend tho mountain under Bultablo atmospheric conditions and saw his own, apparently colossal, shadow caBt by the sun upon a bank of fog; In short, the well-known Specter of the Brockon.
