Show Newton Has Celebration - . Mrs. Mary Johnson's Career Ends . at the Age of Seventy-five . , Year Newton, July C. A grand ball In the evening ended that great day. Mrs. Mary Johnson died, Junu 30, from gcnornl debility. Sho was born in ItosKlldo, Denmark on tho second day of February, 1840; immigrated to Utah in 1873; lived in Box Elder cotn-ty cotn-ty for about a year, and moved to Newton, Cache county. Sister Johnson John-son lived nnd died wth full faith In tho gospol. Was always willing nnJ ready to do her duty. Her life was nqt always the most pleasant but she passed through many trials which will, add stars In her crown. Sister Johnson, is survived by threo children, all boys, and nlno grandchildren grandchil-dren and is going to meet her husband, hus-band, who died about forty years ngo In Copenhagen, also threo children, The funeral services took placo at Newton meet'ng house Friday, July 2. Singing by the choir. Prayer was offered of-fered by Amos Clark. "Farowoll All Earthly Honors," by tho choir. Tho speakers were W. N. Urlflln, J. F. Hanson, Christian Larsen and Com. Chris. Chrlstenson, Selection by D. Georgo Clarko. AH spoke of tho worth of tha dopartcd sister. Singing, "O, What. Songs of tho Heart," and the heendlctlon was pronounced by W. It. Ballard. Tho remains were interred inter-red nt tho Newton cemetery. L. C. Miller dedicated tho grave. L-st Sunday tho Fourth Inst., our Btako presidency surprised us with a pleasant visit.
