Mrs. Champ Is survived by Mr. Champ, their son Krodorlck Perclval, born In Salt lnko City In 1806, and by three sisters,' Mrs. Armstrong of La Porto, Mrs.. Iluttcrflcld of Seat-'. Seat-'. tie, Washington and Mrs. Pershing of South Bend, Indlnna, who has been by , Mrs. Champ's bed sido since October 22nd. Another sister, Mrs. A. C. Ilar- rctt was a well known resident In Logan Lo-gan for. over twenty years and died in Janunry, 1910. With tho passing away of Mrs. Champ, Logan, suffers, the loss of n raro woman who happily combined in her self a high and splendidly trained Intellect with, u flue -sense of domestic domes-tic life. Her homo was a home In the truest sense where she took timo upd pains' not only to study nnd appreciate appre-ciate the finer things of the mind, literature and art, but also to give herself to her friends In the charming manner of u truly gracious hostess. Her presence was something to bo remembered re-membered a youthful spirit was her dominating charm. She wns a charter member of the A. C. Woman's club and had always taken uctlve Interest In It. She wns a faithful communicant of St. John's Episcopal church, Logan, and was tho president of St". John's Guild. In tho past few months though her strength began to' decline, making mak-ing It necessary for her to curtail hdr activities, she' determined to carry on her work In tho guild ns long ns she was able, , A llfo as beautiful as hers, standing stand-ing ns It did for the hlghor things of mind and spirit, mude itself felt for good umong many who knew her but slightly nud for those who knew her well her friendship wns a privilege in deed.
