Senator Smoot today called at tho White HotiHO and extended to tho President a very cordial Invitation to visit Salt Lake upon his tour of tho west. Ho explained to tho President the old folks' reunion and told how tho affair is managed and how the celebration Is one of respect to old age, a very pietty nnd worthy scntl nient.
