Kimball appealed to the voters to vote for him for treasurer, but did not speak of any political Issue. Cobb claimed everything every-thing good for democracy and everything every-thing bad for tho republicans, as Is usual with democratic speakeis. He told of the irrigation bill being got up by democratic legislators. The dems kept leaving the house, presumably presum-ably because of the way the speakers scandalized the republican administration. adminis-tration. It Is evident from expressions expres-sions heard after the meeting that they made votes for republicanism. Mr. Ilallard in his desire to get an oillce plead with the voters for their support a a matter of couise. VOTEK. |
