Show FEDERATION OF WOMEN Meets with the Ladies of Logan Two days' Session very Interesting. The PeJeration held sessions at the II. college all day Thuisda) and at the A. C. of U. on Pi Ida). The Deacon Light entci-tamed entci-tamed the vlsltois and the local club women at luncheon on Thuisday, plates for 150 being laid. In the evening even-ing at the A C. of V , the club which btais that name gave a grand lcccp-tlon lcccp-tlon in honor of the vlsltois. The delegates ai lived on the Wed-nedaj Wed-nedaj evening train and weie met by the local club women in cairlagcs and assigned to the various homes wheic the) weie to be entertained. At i):.IO Tlnusdaj morning the guests with the local club women held the Hist session of tlie gatlicilng at the H Y.C. At this session Mrs L. A. Ostien, of the A C. Woman's club, gieeted the guests and gave them a most coidlal welcome to this, the "Athens of Clah." Following this came some icpoits and loutlnc work, enlivened by music, and at 1:! came the luncheon. This luncheon was most claboiate, the ladies concerned making foi themselves them-selves a icputatlon that is sine to be state wide. Eveij thing that was daliit) and substantial was provided I and in such quantities and vaiietv that none could be othci than pleas-1 ed. At 2 p. in. the session was resumed, resum-ed, and theic were discussed very abl) a number of subjects of inteiest to tlie club women. Iloth morning and afternoon sessions weie replete with helpful thought and suggestion. In the evening the ladles of the Agricultural College Woman's club entertained at the big school on the hill. The icceptlon at the A. C. of V was an exceptional!) delightful af-fali af-fali foi a reception. The spacious llbraiy loom was utilized and this was made beautiful with cutlloweis, potted plants, nigs strewn over the llooi, and made comfoitable with co) coineis, pillows, lockeis, etc. The Thatcher oidiestia played dur-l ing the entlie evening, and this lent a charm that was eclipsed onl) L) , that due to the piesence of so main i of the state's and city's fairest beauties beau-ties in toilets inepioachable. Tlie guests lingered until 12 o'clock and then weie loath to go. Pi Iday's sessions were held at the A C and these were of a vei) high oidei fiom an Intellectual and helpful standpoint Subjects of Ital Interest to club women came up for consideration considera-tion and these iccelved a masterl) handling by women who think. At 1 o'clock tlie Domestic Science department served luncheon. The last session was held at the II. Y. C. Pi Ida) evening at 8 o'clock. The whole affah was as delightful as could have been exacted oi desired de-sired Nothing was left undone that night to add to the comfort and pleasure ol the sessions, and tho warm expressions of the vlsltois is proof that the Logan ladles weie thoioughlv equal to the occasion. |
