Show ANOTHER CHARGE IS EXPLODED I "In the contract with the president of the college It is specifically stated that he be allowed his salary, the use of one house and the keep of a team-of horses. Kerr, has kept at least three horses at the college since his term as president and has used all the others for his family, or personally." person-ally." Logan. Utah, June 12, 1005. In Sunday's Tribune appears a statement state-ment that President Kerr has been keeping thicc horses in tho College barn, while, according to a ruling by the Hoard of Trustees, the President of the College is allowed the feed and B cat c of only two horses. fl I desire to say that the above statement state-ment Is entiiely false. Whenever an extra horse is kept In the barn by any member of the Faculty, Its feed and care arc paid for and a lcccipt issued, and at no time has President Kerr had an extra horse In tho barn without with-out paying for its feed and care at the legular price. J. H. Nklson, Farm Foreman, in charge of horse barn. |
