Lyon, formcly of the First H National Bank of this city, but leccut- JH ly of Holl wood California, died at the latter place Sunday morning at five o'clock. This Information came in a H telegram to his old friend Mr. J.C. ll Mr. Ljon's death vvas due directly 'H to uremic poisoning the result of an H operation performed on July :ird. H About six or seven years ago while re- M turning to his home in this city from H an eastern visit, Mr. Lyon vvas taken H 111 with typhoid and for several H mouths vvas an Inmate of a Salt Lake H hospital. He never thoi oughly recov- cred from this and while atasanltar- him in Glenn Falls. New York, had H the misfortune to fall down stairs, alighting on his spine. Later this gave him very much trouble and an jf operation was performed, and then B another, and finally the one on July H :trd which resulted In his death. There are few in this country that ever met Ripley S. Lyon who will not be pained to hear of his death.
