Kverj-thing Kverj-thing that natuie and skill can produce pro-duce will be found at the fall on the eve of the Hist day , and a grand pro-giam pro-giam will be tendered; while on Saturday Satur-day evening theic will be a grand ball. Smlthlleld orchestta will furnish the music. The people of our little town arc Jubilant ovei the good harvest and general prosperity. Ilovvevci, some still complain and arc wishing demo-ciatic demo-ciatic prospeilty back again Of late a wagon missionary or some such similar character has been galloping gal-loping our stieets. Our city marshal takes care of him at night, but during the day he Is stumping from house to house loaded down with papcis claiming claim-ing they arc "the only" ones printed In Cache county. Some believe It while others know theic are others better for the money and the health. Oui town has had a very prosperous year consideiing tiie crops raised and the improvements made. Mrs. Hudll Ilogensen has completed hci nice little fiaine dwelling house in the west pait of the town (called "Sweden.") "Swe-den.") It is a ciedit to liei sons, who have built It for their mother. These boys aic working in Washington D.C. andOiegon, lespeetivelj. Mr. Christ Nelson's addition to his house is nearly completed and will be a great improvement on Second South sttcet. A gieat credit Is due their son who Is laboilng in Washington D. C. He is doing all he can to make home pleasant for his patents. Our meeting house and vestiy aie getting remodeled and repainted. Our reservoir is under repair with new Humes, etc.. to scctue our water for next season. In fact, every body Is busy Improving homes, fauns, etc. |
