Show Hyrum Notes. The Hyrum Dairy has changed hands. Hereafter It will be known as the Farmers Union Dairy Co. Mon-son Mon-son Rrothors sold out to the" Karmers Union, a new company which will Incorporate In-corporate to go after business to win. Mr. Alma Williams is painting his house. There have been more houses painted In Hyrum this year than in any one year since the city was founded. found-ed. It is surprising what a vast improvement im-provement a little paint will make. Wo congratulate ourselves on having hav-ing Dr. W. R. Parkinson Jr. and wife locate in our town. We give him a hearty welcome and wish him every success. He is a capable young man and Just what the town needs. Ranger James Lcatham was a visitor vis-itor here last Saturday. He feels that his appointment is an important one and says that he intends to do his duty. If he finds any tresspassers ho says he will report them. Henry Jensen went to Salt Lake with the excursion last week. He said on his return, "Goo whiz! if the world is as long as it Is wide, it's a whopper." The Hyrum blacksmiths arc still holding out for a "pay as you go system" sys-tem" and the man with the money gels the work done first. Mrs. John McAllster and Mr. and Mis. Frank Thatcher of Logan were in town Sunday visiting with Mr. Mrs. George F. Wright. Work on the second ward meeting house has commenced again and th at building will soon be completed. Tho threshing machine is heard every ev-ery day In our town. The wheat yield Is fairly good. |
