Show Mrs. Obray Dead. p:ieanor Obray, the beloved wife of Samuel W. Obray of Paradise, departed depart-ed this life on the 25th day of April 1003, aged 71 years and ten months. She died a faithful Latter-day Saint and leaves a numerous posterity. To her was born nine children, eight of whom are living, and to these may bo credited her 78 grand children and 41 great grand-children. Mrs. Obray emigrated to Utah in tho year 1854, and was among the first settlers of Wcllsville, where she lived for some time. She saw this valley before it reached any degree of civilization and could tell many interesting stories of the early days with their trials and tribulations and Indians as well. Mrs. Obray lived a good life and was popular popu-lar among her acquaintances. It is said that she could and did carry a larger vote in Paradise than any other person in that vicinity. The relations havo tho sympathy of the entire community, com-munity, the people of which feel a great loss in the death of this good woman. Other papers please copy. |
