Show B. Y. College Notes. The College Dasket Hall team went to Ogden Friday and placd their first match game in the league, with the Weber Stake Academy team. Tho game was placd successfully throughout through-out and our bos returned home Saturday Sat-urday having gained the victory with a score of 22 to 11. A number of students stu-dents accompanied the plavcis tq Ogden. The second basket ball game of the League will be plaed in the College gymnasium next Satuiday, January 23rd, by tho Ii. Y. C. and D. V. U. teams. It ls believed that this will be tho strongest and liveliest game of the year. President McMuiiln, of tho Quorum Of Seventies, was a visitor at the College Col-lege last week. Ills purpose was to Interview the missionary students. The visitor was so well pleased with these students- that he called nineteen of llicm to prepare1 to leave for missions mis-sions within the next six weeks. The training school opened Its manual man-ual training depaitmeut last week. Tho looms arc well equipped with benches and tools, and the bos of the several giades sue veiy busy with their new woik. The class of 1007 gave a ball hi the ginnasluni Filday night. The training teachers aie assigned work In the giades as follows: Mr. Lindsay, Miss Rich and Miss Raker seventh and eighth grades; Mr. Peterson, Peter-son, Miss Hall and Miss Duseh lifth and sixth grades; Miss Farncsbeck and Miss Dean beginners' giade.
