Show GOOD WOMAN PASSES AWAY I- Mrs. Clarissa Parkinson, wife of Dr. W. B. Parkinson, Dies of Paralysis. Mis. Clarissa Taggart Parkinson died of apoplexy and paialjslsat her homo In this city Wcdesday near noon. The deceased was taken ill Monday evening, falling to the floor In unconsciousness. uncon-sciousness. Dr. W. B. Parkinson Jr. was called and an examination revealed the fact that she was suffering suffer-ing fiom paraljsls and was in a critical condition. Drs. Budge and Calder-wood Calder-wood were called Into consultation but the efforts of all were vain, and the patient passed away as stated above. Mrs. Parkinson was a native of Salt Lake City, having been boin theic December 12, 1807. She moved with her parents to Moigan, and there it was that she was married to Dr. Parkinson in 1875. She came to Logan Log-an In 1880 and lias since been a resident resid-ent of tills city. Seven children were born to her, live of whom survive her. She was a woman who commanded the esteem and respect of all with whom she came In contact and her departure will be sincerely mourned by many otheis than the relatives. The many good things said of iter proclaim pro-claim her to have been all that is desirable de-sirable In a mother and wife. Dr. Parkinson, tho bereft husband, was in Chicago at the time of his wife's death, and reached homo Thursday Thurs-day evening In answer to telegrams. The unexpectedness of the sad calamity calam-ity comes as a suveie shock to him. The funeral sei vices will be held In the tabernacle tomonow at noon. |
