All things come to those who wait. If It seems the hour is late Yet be patient; unto thee Fuller, deeper Jojs shall be For tho waiting; still go on, Crowns not easily arc won; Re thou hopeful; thy reward Lies within the afterward. Walt awhile. Oh, be cheery! Still endure Present want for wealth most sine. Never was so strong a pain Rut gave place to quiet gain; Never was so long a night Hut was vanquished by the light; Never was so deep a sorrow Hut brought thankfulness tomorrow. Walt awhile. Take the sunshine that may be In the skies spread over thee; Take the little bursts of bliss Possible in worlds like this; Take with songs of grateful praise, Love that blesses awry dajs. These are parts of one great whole; Hut for that which (Ills the soul, Walt awhile. If this earthly life were all, Then our spirits werq In thiall; Hut there Is another home, And wo nearer to It come, Where Is so much sacred leisure, Wc shall know not passing pleasure; Every thing will grow and last Only grief and sin be past Walt awhile. They shall never hungei more Whohavegalned that shining shore, Every fear shall theic be stilled. Every longing wish fullllled; All communion close and long, Sighs exchanged for peaceful song, Friends at home whom naught shall sever. Perfect Joy that lasts foi ever: Wait awhile. |
