Harry Endlcott of Anderson, Ind., a broth-er broth-er cf "Farmer Bill" Endlcott, tho noted automobtlo racer, and Mary 8. A-ata of Jackson, a 10-year-old spectator, spec-tator, were killed and three persons Injured horo this afternoon when En-dlcott's En-dlcott's automobtlo, hurling around the raco track, crashed through n fence after one of tho front tiros blew up, Tho Injured aro Qeorgo Benedict Bene-dict of Los Angeles, who whs acting as Endlcott's mechanician; Mrs. Mabel Ma-bel Walters, and Frances Hall 13 years old, both of Jackson. Benedict's condition Is In doubt. Neither Mrs. Walters nor tho girl was seriously hurt. Endlcott was driving a 100 horse power Cutting car preparatory to an exhibition raco against Benedict-hero tomorrow when accident occurred. Benedict was at his side. The mach ine turned a sharp curvo as It swung Into tho homo stretch and with a voncrt like a pistol shot tho tlrs burst.
