Hayball submitted a report on the matter of n public library or reading read-ing room for Logan City and recom-mended recom-mended that the matter of a library tax levy bo submitted to tho taxpayers taxpay-ers of the city lit tho next general election and the report was adopted by tho other two commissioners. The mayor calls attention to the fact that tho city Is running behind several thousand dolklrs each year and under un-der tho present financial conditions of tho city It would not be wise to lovy tho tax. Honorable Board of City Commission: I herewith submit to you for your consideration my report In regard to the establishment or a public library for Logan City. Tho law requires that a petition be signed by at lofst two hundred fifty (250) qualified voters vot-ers and property tax payers residents of tho city, this as you know has already al-ready been complied with.
