This Is tho culmination ot an investigation extending over flvo years. Tho International Harvester company com-pany Is n J140.000.000 corporation composed of six subsidiaries McCor-mlck, McCor-mlck, Dcerlng, Champion, Mllwaukco, Osborno and Piano. Tho refusal ot the company to sop-nrato sop-nrato in any plan of dissolution tho McCormlck and Deerlng companies, said to bo Its two principal subsidiaries, subsidiar-ies, rendered futllo tho efforts ot Attorney At-torney General Wlckersham nnd tho International's counsel to reach an ngreoment. Tho government maintained main-tained that tho so-called trust as a whole controlled from 85 to 90 per cent of tho harvester business of the country and tho McCormlck nnd Deerlng Deer-lng firms represented from GO to G5 per cent of tho business. Under these conditions tho attornoy general refused re-fused to consent to any plan which held tho McCormlck and Doorlng com. panles as ono.
