That the Hyde Parkers will not be idle when they can And anything to do, was made manifest last week, when road supervisor Suel E. Lamb received word vthat the county cotrimlssloners would spctfd $200 upon the county road in our district. Well, Mr. Editor, it took just two days to put 400 loads or gravel upon the road. Most every man and boy that had a team and pair of bobs was out earning some of that money. Lasted quick? Well, I should say so! Give us some more, "Brother Knowles, and we will give you value received. On Thursday night there was a leap year ball for the married folks. Very few were out. Not enough to pay the music. The following night another leap j ear ball was given, this time for the young folks. tA large crowd attended at-tended and a tip-top time was had by all. Saturday afternoon the Primary association gave a dance for the children. chil-dren. The little tots were all made happy by their dear teachers presenting present-ing them with beautiful valentines Saturday evening M. W.
