Show 1 N jOlMPaui I Gilmore Who He Is and What He Has Done. Paul Gllmore's success on the ttige Illustrates what talent will do for the right sort of man. This clever young actor, who Is nearing his thirtieth birthday, stepped from a high school amateur at Milwaukee to a smalt part in a famous stock company. His splendid Interpretation soon brought reward with leading roles while he was In support of prominent stars and the attention of managers was called to this young actor of large promise, the result being that Paul Gllmore was starring before he was twenty-live. Before promotion to stellar stel-lar rank, Mr. Gllmore was leading man In the Frohmau companies presenting "Tho Charity Ball," "The Wife," and V Men' and Women." He was proclaimed pro-claimed by critics the youngest leading lead-ing man on the stage at that time and complimentary notices of his acting were given wherever he appeared. Soon after he became a star with pronounced pro-nounced success, portraying the difficult diffi-cult role of D'Artagnan in "The Three Musketeers." He then tpured asstar of "Under the Red Robe," again meeting meet-ing with great success ne was after that engaged to support Miss Henrietta Henriet-ta Crossman In "Mistress Nell," at Wallack's Theatre In New York, playing play-ing King Charles. During this engagement en-gagement his present manager was so Impressed with the high and. uniform excellence of Mr. Gllmore's acting that he secured his signature toa long term contract as star. Since then Mr. Gllmore Gll-more has appeared with inci casing success as star in "The Tyranny of Tears," "The Mummy and the Humming Hum-ming BJrd," "Captain Debonnalre," and "A.t Yale," In tho last of which he was hqre last acason. This season he is appearing In "The Wheel of Love," written especially for him by George V. Hobart, a dramatist and humorist of national reputation. This comedy affords Mr. Gllmoro ample opportunity op-portunity for showing all phases of his art, the role of Jack Hartley being peculiarly pe-culiarly suitable to 'the qualitiesof the brilliant young actor.
