Show Benson Ward Has Storm Wedding of Prominent Promi-nent Couple. BENSON, June 22 A terrltlo storm visited this place last Tuesday afternoon. The rain came down In torrents for a short time. The lightning light-ning played some tricks with a number num-ber of telephones putting them out cf order. It also disfigured the looks of a large tree near A. V. Reese's house. A large number of relatives and friends met at Jacob Jorgenscn's home Wednesday evening to partake of the wedding festivities of his son Elmer, and Mlis Annie Cook of Hde Park. The newly married couple looked their best. They were loaded with best wishes. The wedding presents pres-ents were ndmerous and costly. It took hours for all to get served at the tables. Tift dining room was nicely decorated Prof. C. A. Reese and Mrs Howard Reese furnished music for the dancing. danc-ing. The older people got Into the spirit of their younger days. They skipped around as If treading on air. Jacob and Abraham Jorgensen and Blllie Cook did some tine stunts In Jigging. Songs were given by Mr. Cook, Mrs. Dorlnda Parsons of Poca-tello, Poca-tello, the Misses Hannah and Maggie Mathews and Mr. Mathews A quartette quar-tette was .nicely rendered by Miss Susie Martlneau, the bridegroom, and Howard and Lee Marjlpeau. The company dispersed about 3 o'clock after enjojlng a night of real pleasure. A dnce took place at the meeting home Friday evening. All had a good time. The Mendon orchestra furnished furnish-ed the music. Mrs. Libble Reese returned homo Wednesday from St. Anthony Idaho. , Miss Elizabeth Griffiths left Thursday Thurs-day for California where she will spend h sr vacation. Charles Strom and family have moved mov-ed to Dempsey, Idaho. Tom Arbon li amongst his old friends once more workiug at carpentry carpen-try and painting. |
