Tho most notable social function of the week wis the strawberry festival given on Saturday night last at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Griffith by the Social and Literary club. -A social game was played which resulted in G. II. Xaylor and Mrs. Win. Cant-wull Cant-wull securing the prize and R. 13. Thornley and Mrs. George Tool-son Tool-son getting the boobies. Nearly fifty were in attendance and a royal gootl time indulged in. The house was beautifully lighted and decorated in snowballs ami pim-sics. pim-sics. Mr. and .Mrs. Griffith are deserving de-serving of much praise for the orderly and systematic arrangement arrange-ment of the whole nlVnir."
