Show PARADISE AffAIRS PARAlilSE, June 12. James Loft-house, Loft-house, a pioneer of Paradise and a highly respeoled citizen, was laid to rest Monday, June 8, at the age of 75 years. Mr. Lotthouse was born In Bowuham, Landshlre, England, November No-vember 1,1833. He emigrated to Utah in his 20th year and has always been a faithful worker for publlcbettcrment. The funeral services were held at the meeting house at 2 p. m. The speakers were William Bishop, James Quayle, Samuel Oldham, J. F. Wright and John P. James. Wlnnlfrcd Welch, daughter of John and Vena Welch, died Monday at 7 a. m and was burled Tuesday at 2 p. m. Her death was caused by a cancer in her throat. Miss Welch was an Intel-llgant Intel-llgant and well respected young lady. The casket was beautifully decorated deco-rated with (lowers. The speakers were Andrew Petersen, Joseph Jcppeson, Wm. Horsloy and Bishop Crookstoo. |
