Show Reception For Utah Excursion MAGRATH, August 3. Harvesting will commence here this week. Mr. L. The weabher Is bhe best ever seen and hay, grain and vegetables are in great aoundance. The people of Magrath celebrated Pioneer Day in fine style, a good program pro-gram consisting of music and speeches In tho morning with horse races, ball games and sports to please everyone tilled the day with a rousing good dance In the evening. "Raymond aod Cardston had no celebration, so their young people came to our town. Their ball teams were also here, so cheering was going on all thru the day's sports. AuntZlnaY. Card was a visitor in Magrath and kindly consented to give the oration on the 24th. She left hero for Raymond, where she met with a slight accident falling down President II. S. Allen's cellar stairs. She was not hurt however as seriously as was thought at tlrst. Mrs. Sarah Matkin left for her home In Hyde Park last week. She has been spending the summer with -her children In this country. We hope she has enjoyed her visit as it has been enjoyed by all here.
