Next Wednesday Dr. and Mrs. Wldtsoc Wldt-soc will entertain the seniors at dinner. din-ner. Mr. Frank Thatcher, assistant in carpentry, has returned to his classes after a long illness with typhoid. Dr. Rail left for Brlgham City Thursday where he will supervise spraying for the codling moth. From there he will go to Provo and further south on work connected with the college Experiment station. A lunch was served in the college dining room last Saturday for some of the Provo visitors. A mong those present pres-ent were Pjof. and Mrs. A. C. Lund, Prof. Preston Peterson, Mr. Bert Smoot and Dr. and Mrs. Wldtsoe. Victor Fonnesbeck '08, Erastus Peterson Pe-terson '10 and Orson Loyd '10, are the men selected for the debate against ttie B. Y. U. at Provo next week Thursday. They arc having daily practise under the supervision of Dr. Thomas, Prof. Robinson and the members mem-bers of the English department. The subject of the debate Is as follows: "Resolved, that a railway commission should be appointed by the next legislature legis-lature of the state of Utah. |
