Besides the Bible we have the Book of Mormon, modern revelation and the testimony of the Holy Ghost, to prove the divine mission mis-sion of Christ He was not merely a great moral teacher as many of tho learned men of the world advocate. A. held an Interesting but prolonged conference. con-ference. Mr. Charles R. Jeppsen treated treat-ed the subject, "Luck." Mr. Harry Oaks sang a barltono solo and Miss Lottie Anderson sang In her usual pleasing manner after which dlscours-ei dlscours-ei were delivered by President Hart and Apostle Smith. O. F. Olsen made a very earnest plea for the high school established here. We should show our appreciation of this blessing by giving Itoursupporv. Notes. Miss Elite Larsen, twenty-one-year-old daughter of Mrs. Christina Larsen, died of typhold-pneumoniaat 0 o'clock this morning. Her death came as a severe shock to the family and friends as all indications were favorable for her recovery up to a very short time before her passing away. All who knew Sister Larsen will mourn her departure, de-parture, as seldom will one meet with a more patient, lovlngnd cheerful disposition than she possessed. Her brother, Archie, is also seriously III with typhoid fever. Truly the family merit the sympathy of the community. There are eight cases of typhoid fever fev-er in our city. The following former residents of Hyrum but now residents of Idaho, are visiting friends and relatives here: Niels Monseu, John Wray and wife, James Larsen, wife and daughter. T. F.
