"Push Richmond and prosper " These words were adopted by the Industrial Club. in their enthusiastic meeting on Monday night as a slogan for the club and the city. Other slogans were pte-scntcd, pte-scntcd, a few being, "Everybody Works lor Richmond," 'Richmond stands icady to show you," "Richmond is boostlngshc'sduitroostlng," "Richmond "Rich-mond the home or opportunities," "Watch Richmond glow," "Richmond will grow by leaps and bounds " After two long sessions they decided this matter mat-ter and now the cry will be "Push Richmond and prosper." The club's membership is incieaslngand many arc awakening to the greater possibilities possibil-ities of Richmond and vicinity made through tho elforts of the club. Pred-Judlce Pred-Judlce and knocking arc dying out and after the club's "big feed" on the 7th of December, for which elaborate preparations aie being made, cveiy doubter as to Richmoud's prosperity will become one of our enthualstlc workers and shout with us: "Push Richmond and prosper." The contract for building the bank and the electric light olllcc building has' been awarded to Worley & Nelson and It is reported they will commence work Immediately and push the same to completion as rapidly as possible. Worley & Nelson are also working hard on the Interior of our tabernacle. Just a peep into that new building will prove that Richmond is going to have one of the lincst houses of worship wor-ship in the county. Walter Egan was most pleasantly surprised afclils home Tuesday evening even-ing of last week, by many of his old friends. An enjoablc evening was spent and all wish him God speed on his Journey to Scandinavia as a missionary. mis-sionary. A benellt dance was given In the hall on Thuisday. Monday he left for Salt Lak? and Europe taking with him the best wishes or all Richmond Rich-mond for a successful mission and a safe return The High Creek Electric Light and Power company, of this place, has just completed a private telephone system between their olllce here, and power plant up Muddy canyon. Tills was lound necessary owing to the dlstanco of the powerhouse from tho main telephone tel-ephone wires and by having their own line they save a good deal on toll charges.
