The Teachers. i The teachers of this county held their first Institute last Friday and Saturday and spent a very profitable time together. There was an excel lent attendance of the pedagogues but comparatively few of tho trustees, who were very much desired. Parent's Day. It was decided that November 24th should be "Parents' Day," and on this date all parents aro Invited, urged, and expected to visit the schools In which their children aro located. In tho evening a pnbllo meeting will bo held In. each school district at which the following questions will bo discussed: "To what extent is tho public school of Cache county fulfilling Its mls-slonV" mls-slonV" "How miy the requirements be more fully met?" These questions will bo dlscussea from the standpoint of tho teacher, parent, business and professional man, and It Is desired that tho largest attendance possible be present. Teachers Held Responsible. The trustees decided to bo very strict In tho enforcement of the com-pulsory com-pulsory attendance law, and also to hold tho teachers responsible for text books. Tho last, month's salary will be withheld until all books aro accounted ac-counted for The teachers will study "Psycholo-gy" "Psycholo-gy" the first half of tho year, and "History of Kducatlon" the second half.
