Show The "Royal Flush" Prospect Property LooKs Good to Visitors; Formation Forma-tion Considered Very Fine. George Cole, Jos. Wilson, Wm. Da-vis, Da-vis, Charles Hansen, Emil Anderson, Steve Hailstone and the writer visited tho"Hojal Flush" gold prospect pros-pect in Tabernacle Hollow, abouttwo miles east of Logan, Wednesday afternoon after-noon The "Itoyal Flush." It will be renumbered, Is that prospect now being be-ing pushed by the Anderson Mining Co , recently incorporated. The entire party spent some tlmo In the fifty foot tunnel, dug samples of ore from the face and along the sides of that tunnel, noted the wonderful quartzlte footwall and tho limestone wall fifty feet east, observed tho continuance con-tinuance of this formation toward both the north and south and then inspected in-spected the original 2.Vfoot shaft sunk loO feet above the present tunnel. Following this investigation It was the expression that none had ever seen a moro perfect formation In ijny Utah or Montana camp. The Prospect. The prospect Is located about one-third one-third the way up a ravine or hollow leading to the top of the monntaln and the tunnel Is driven in to the north perhaps tirty feet above tho depths of this ravine. This tunnel follows a great quartz ledge standing on edge, fulljr twenty-five feet In tho air. This ledge ts at a slight angle, leaning to the cast. To tho cast about fifty feet stands a limestone ledgo and between these formations lies the ore matter The tunnel Is but wide endugh for a wheel-barrow, of course, aud the width of the vein is but conjecture. con-jecture. However, at a point about 10 feet In tho tunnel tho formation on the east seems to change considerably and there is evidence that heio tho vein begins to wldeu. At tho end of the tunnel, now In fifty feet, even candle can-dle light reveals a clearly defined lino between tho quartzlte wall and the ore body and the vein dips down and to tho northeast. The Ore. So' far as the value of the ore matter Is concerned, the party could only note that It seems heavily mineralized and apparently of gi cater worth In tho end of the tunnel than at Its opening. This apparent increase In value Is borno out In tls ass&ys showing a trace at the grass roots,02c further In. $t.l7 and then $2.77. In the face of tho tunnel the ore matter is a decomposed quartz and can bo picked out very easily. Mem-bars Mem-bars of the party familiar with ores are confident that the product Is unquestionably un-questionably o. k. for handling by a cyanide process. The whole party was very faiorably Impressed with tlie formation, the appearance of the ore, the splendid location of the mine, which is within easy reach of water and easy access to teams, and while none claim to know moro about mines than tho average expert, it. was tho expression that there is eery indication indica-tion about the property that could be desired. It certainly Is worth the expenditure ex-penditure of a good sum of money in development work. Believe In It. The promoters of the "Kojal Flush" bcllcvd In it and aro now arranging to contract for tunnel work. As wo understand un-derstand It.thls tunneling will be done at a decided Inollne. Morcur parties up to inspect tho property ashort tlmo ago say that It Is unquestionably very tine, worth money In any developed mining camp. They came to get hold of the property, but It had Just then been Incorporated. An expert says that oven at prosent ore values, a fiO-ton fiO-ton cyanide plant could handle 100 tons dally at a profit of about o0 a day. A Little Detail. This prospect was discovered by Po--llceraan Emll Anderson three or four years ago. The shaft referred to above was sunk on an Iron lead to a depth of twenty-five feet. That lead was scarcely an Inch wide at tho grass roots but at twonty-llvo feet down widens to two feet. This Iron failed to show any real values, and then It was decided to go below to tho quartz wall and get beneath this Iron. The father of Mr. Anderson, a man sovenly odd years old,has worked on this lower tunnel during tho past year or two and Is responsible for tho fifty foot tunnel. Assays of ore show as stated, and this led the owners of tho property proper-ty to Incorporate with the Idea of pushing tho property, A limited amount of stock Is now on the market at -) cents a share. |
