"According to estimates made by school otllclals and Hit: usual inquiries on the part of parents, this com Ins: school year is going to bo by far the biggest the Logan public schools have had. Where ail these children are going to be put Is quite a question. Every effort is being made at present to find room for children without requiring re-quiring them to walk too far, but still, In a number of cases, this cannot be avoided." says Superintendent Cardon. "In the Fifth and upper part of the Seventh wards, all In the 3rd grade iffaSl and 4th B class will attend at ttio An-y An-y nex, or the Fifth ward meeting house. Those In tho 4th A, Gth and Oth from those same wards will attend the Parry. 'Those in the 2nd grade In the Seventh ward will continue to come to the Woodruff, except those who live nearer, tho Annex, who can attend there. Both classes of the 8th grade will attend tho Woodruff. Two falrlv good rooms have been llxed up In the ltiter house adjoining the WooodrulT, and In them will bo put the 8th I) and 3rd B classes." "Arrangements will most likely bo made to have all of tho 3rd grade students In the 'Ballard district attend the Woodruff, where there will bo two schools for them. This would leavo the Ballard with only tho 4th grade. A good teacher is to bo procured for ttiat school, so that, altogether, It should bo under very good conditions this coming year. But for the. tirst . few days the 3rd grade will continue to attend th; Ballard." 'The parents are urged to get their children In for the opening day. It Is better to send them for the few weeks .before be-jt digging time than to keep Mktliem until that season is over. Ar- fcrangements can be made to take the children ont, forthat season." |
