Show Crimsons Are State Champions II B. Y. C. Basketball Team Wallops Salt i Lake Y. M. C. A. Bunch-34 to 14. 1 ffl In a great game at the B. Y. C. gymanslam Saturday evening, tho "Crimsons," State Lcaguo basketball champlons,slaughtcred tho Y.M.O. A., team of Salt Lake city, and thereby won tho title "Stato Champions " At no time did the visiting team stnnd a gost of a show of winning. From tho first whistle tho Crimsons forged ahead and the visitors, although al-though fighting desperately, wero never nev-er within hailing distance during tho entire game. Tho first half was one of tho swiftest swift-est exhibitions of the popular game that has ever been seen here. From tho first moment.both teams seta killing kill-ing pace and beforo the half was ended it told on tho Y.M.O.A. people. Their lack of condition was shown in every movement and they appeared badly winded at tho end of the half while the Crimsons seemed as fresh as at the beginning. Tho half ended with tho score of 10 to 5, In favor of the locals. During the second half tho visitors visi-tors wero entirely on thodcfenslvc.tho game being fought almost entirely In Crimson territory. It was seen after a few moments ot play that It was only a question of scoro, the visitors being winded so badly that they wero unablo to follow their opponents at all. Hoffman did practically all tho playing play-ing for his team, Tho B. Y. O. team was badly crippled by tho loss of Wilcox. Keller, a now man, played his position with all kinds of credit to himself.
