Show - Big Races At the Skating Rink & Business Houses Enter Speeders in Six Day Affair Great Excitement. On Monday evening a big six day . . race was Inaugurated at the Thatcher pavilion skating rink. There were twclvo entries, each skater represent jt ing and belngbacked br some one of ;, the baslness houses in this city. The ' i--' racers are uniformed and during the , thirty minutes given to thu race 1 the greatest excitement prevailed. Y The races will contlnuo each evening and on Saturday evening the winner f will get 115.00 cash; second $10 00 cash; I third $5.00 cash. It takes thirty laps of the rink to make ono mile.
