Show THE COUNTY SCHOOLS. Not a few parents labor under the Impression that they could, if the opportunity op-portunity were offered, run the aver-ago aver-ago school to better advantage than does the superintendent and corps of teachers. Especially Is this disposition disposi-tion manifest in the parent of the small town or small school district. Unfortuatoly, for it Is to the extreme detriment of the schools, many of tho patrons criticise tho teacher, carp arxmt the superintendent, score the trustees about a little of everything, and each Innovation toward real progress pro-gress is not only viewed with suspicion but Is frowned down as a new-fangled craze of those who would ape city ways. Countless annoyances from certain honest but Ignorant and misguided mis-guided parents retard progress continually. contin-ually. The aim of every conscientious person per-son connected with school management manage-ment Is to be of greatest service, to make the school work attractive and effective, to do that, which will elevate tho general standard of tho school. However, even honest and capable prople fall at times for the rason that they do not grasp related facts properly, and work at cross purposes. Superintendent McCarrey and his corps of teachers In this county desire to co-operate closely with the parent and work to splendid advantage, and to ascertain .for themselves as well as to give the parents a view of the situation, situ-ation, public meetings have been arranged ar-ranged for the purpose of discussing the question "Are the schools of Cache county fulfilling their mission from tho standpoint of the parent, business man, teacher and trustee?"
