Show Mendon's Salon Closed i I Mkndon. March 20, l0(l, The driest dri-est concert ever given In Mendon was I given Friday night of last week by the primary children. Great credit Is due President Mollic Sorenscn and assistants. It Is certainly remarkable how those little tots took their parts. Mr. J. H. Hardman was asked to bring his line graphophonc and p'.ay a few selections, which he did. It was highly appreciated by some. The evening was dark and rainy, but the house was crowded to suirocatlon. G. L. Farrell, of Smlthtlcld, was In Mendon and Pcterboro last week trying try-ing to form a company to put up a grist mill and clcvatnr on his ranch Several Intend to tako stock. Word has been received by the relatives rela-tives of Mr. and Mrs. Ephriam Slid-ton Slid-ton that they will soon return home again, on the account of the health of Mr Shelton. Mrs. Mary Soienson Is getting along line since she was brought home from the Budge & Rudgo hospital. An agent fiom Logan has sold a company of farmeis In Mendon another an-other line stallion. Mrs. Wm. Harrett has returned home from Logan, where she had been visiting for a week. The gin shop that has been tunning hero for about two years has been closed up. Grandma Larson Is getting better again, although she is eighty years old. Miss Alta Hardman, who has been so very sick, Is improving. Grandma Haker Is falling very fast. |
