For jcars Mr. Peterson has IH conducted a shoe store exclusively, but some time ago decided -to carry H gent's furnishings also, and this add I- iH tlon entailed the changes that arc mentioned above. It Is noted that the spacious stoic H room has been completely overhauled Inctery particular, and It presents such a harmonious and allogcthc plcaslngappcarance that It shows to very marked advantage. The walls IH have bc"ii repapercd, new shelving IJ covering both stdo walls has been put In, a convenient and very excellent ihow window has been constructed, a lino show case has been added, the lloor painted and furniture added, and H the whole Is in such harmony, so far H as color Is concerned, that the very jH best etlect is produced. It Is exceedingly doubtful If H any II rm hi this city carries as large a stock of shoes as does Mr. Peterson, H and few stocks approach It In sl.e. Doing an exclusive shoe business and carrying the reliable Douglas shoe for men and the C. P.Ford shoe for ladies, H this establishment has built up a trade that requires an Immense stock to meet the demands. Mr. Peterson Is confident that in tho Douglas he has IIIIB the best shoe on the market for the IIIIB money, and ot tho C. P. Ford shoe says llH that he has never yet had a single complaint slnco he put thlsvJn stock. IIH Mr. Peterson Is, very naturally, IIH proud of his present showing and glad that he Is able to make his place of business more attractive. An in- 'IH quiry led to the statement that he IIH came to Logan In 1878, built the store IIH room he now occupies in 1802, and that he attributes his success to tho IIH fact that he learned when a boy to be punctual, regular and truthful, added IIH to the fact that for years he has IH bought his guods for cash, thus en- IIH abling him to sell goods at the very IIH lowest price consistent with their IH The many friend-, of Mr. Peterson IIH will be glad to note the prosperity and IIH progress that is his.
