Tho following communication from Downey, Idaho, details the death or a oung lady, the daughter of one of Logan's Lo-gan's foimer citizens The communication communi-cation says: "Died, May 1,'i, at Downey, Idaho, Mary J. Barnes, wife or Owen Barnes, and daughter of Phil Phillips. The many Logan friends of "I'lill" will bo pained to hear this, It will bring to mind his sorrow of years ago when he burled his wife under precisely the same conditions. Being left with one daughter and eight sons, for years this loving daughter was mother and sister to Phil's largo family Now her demise is mourned by a husband and Hyo small children. Her three days old bab: preceded her In dcatti Dr Wray, of Malad, assisted by her relatives, did all In their power for her, until death claimed her.
