Show The present snow Is acceptable of course, but If tho weather man had considered Utah Interests he would have arranged for heavy snows early In November, before tho ground was frozen. Twenty Inches of snow following fol-lowing frosts that have frozen the ground to a depth of two and a half feet, as at present, means less to this country than Ave Inches early In the winter season. Should a big thaw como now. practically all the snow would melt and run olT before the ground could loosen sufficiently to retain re-tain any of it. Cache Is particularly favored as a rule and can pull throuph the seasons with less snow than most of the southern countries, but more snow hero would be of Inestimable value. It Is gratifying to know that the snowfall was general through the south and to a grc.it depth. |
